A flock of king parrots came visiting this afternoon. The females posed obligingly, but the male hid away in the foliage where I could not get a clear shot. Pity, because they have much brighter plumage.
I like the way this one seems to be looking at me with intelligent scepticism. They are a little bit cheeky, and have minimal fear of people.
A bit of anthropomorphism never hurt anyone...
